We are thankful to members of Blantyre Technical Working Group (TWG) on Child Protection for their valuable input and expertise during the appraisal session of our new project which is being funded by UNICEF. The project is aimed at guaranteeing the provision of services and enhancing protection for children, women, and other vulnerable groups impacted by Cyclone Freddy.
Collaboration with the (TWG) and other stakeholders is key in the process of developing inclusive and sustainable solutions that prioritize the well-being and safety of women and children who were affected by the cyclone.
Our team was led by Sewenthe Mahwayo Chipofya who is one of YONECO’s Programme Support Managers.
“The collective efforts of all involved will help in rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and creating a brighter future for the affected communities including children” emphasized Mahwayo.
